GAS Jeans teamed up with Italian gallery ONO Arte Contemporanea for an exhibition of photographs by Japanese artist Masayoshi Sukita – who collaborated with David Bowie for over 40 years. The exhibition called David Bowie “Heroes” is a look at some of the iconic images the two were responsible for.
As an extension to this, GAS Jeans has introduced 2,000 T-shirts bearing Sukita’s prints. (And they’re numbered, so that you’re confident of their ‘collector’s edition’ status.) Only 60 of these can now be found in their Indian stores. The images can be traced back to the same photo session that gave Bowie a cover for his 1977 album Heroes. And T-shirts are priced at a sweet Rs 3,490. Music to our ears!
