Label ‘Line Outline’ by Deepit Chugh
A NIFT New Delhi graduate, Deepit Chugh has had successful stints at Pantaloons and PARX at Raymonds before starting his own label. His men’s wear collection ‘IDYLL’ narrates a story of a utopian life that is hopeful and energetic. It takes its visual inspiration from coloured brutalist architecture. Minimalistic hand embroideries like pitta work, cording and zardozi add a unique touch to the pieces while the colour blocking and pattern play truly sets the garments apart. Featuring relaxed silhouettes, off-centre closures, wide lapels and contrast insets for jackets – all enveloped in soft cottons, cotton blends, Bemberg silks and twill fabrics – Deepit Chugh’s collection blends comfort and versatility with clean tailoring.
Twinkle Hanspal honed her creative talents with top designers like Ritu Kumar, Anamika Khanna and Ridhi Mehra after graduating from NIFT New Delhi. Her eponymous label has minimalism at its core and takes inspiration from Indian classics to create elevated essentials. Twinkle’s collection is a celebration of classic Indian silhouettes like the dhoti and sari drapes but with a contemporary twist. Featuring breathable cottons and luxurious silks in vibrant colours – along with intricate details like line stitch, fabric cording, dabka embroidery and colour blocking – this semi-formal collection takes a trendy approach to tradition.
