To mark 10 years of his eponymous label and just as long a collaboration with the cosmetic brand, Giambattista Valli and M.A.C have put out a small lipstick line that somehow manages to be both fun and practical. Each tube is the colour of the shade inside so you can find your lippie in a hurry. There are only five colours here — pinks and reds inspired by fabrics he’s used over the last decade — and one clear lipgloss to transform each into a high-voltage version of itself. In an interview with Yahoo, the designer says, “I love opposites. I love the idea that with one you can do two looks. And just the gloss with natural lips, I think is beautiful too. And the gloss you can use it even sometimes up on your eyes, and have that kind of natural look.” An haute couture darling who wants to give us more bang for our buck? May his tribe increase.
