What is it? Simple skincare solutions with a blend of natural ingredients and gentle, effective technologies. Apart from the signature detox facial and body products, there are also perfumes and home fragrances on offer.
ELLE loves: The Vitamin E Face Moisturizer is an oil-free, hydrating skin protectant that also works as a base or primer.
What is it? Set up in 1967, chemist and cosmetologist Mario Badescu’s eponymous line is known for its use of botanical ingredients. His salons offer customised skincare treatments – and are regular celebrity haunts.

What is it? The niche perfume house pays homage to New York City with over 80 fragrances, marking every neighbourhood with a scent.

ROGER & GALLET
What is it? When they took over in 1862, Armand Roger and Charles Gallet carried on the legacy of royal perfumer Jean Marie Farina. Their perfumes, bath and body products contain pure essential oils, and are inspired by the gardens of the world.
ELLE loves: Jean Marie Farina Eau De Cologne blends citrus notes with aromatic oils. It’s said Napoleon kept a tapering bottle of this fragrance stowed in his boot.
What is it? This independent multibrand concept store is one of the largest for niche perfumes in France. It houses more than 60 brands of rare perfumes, including in-house brand Javoy.
ELLE loves: Roja Dove Diaghilev is a woody-aromatic perfume with notes of ylang-ylang, sandalwood and musk.
What is it? Founded by the creator of YSL’s much-loved Touche Éclat, this make-up and skincare line features products ranging from anti-ageing make-up using rare pigments and the purest active ingredients, to light-reflecting, dewy and fresh skincare.
ELLE loves: The Baume De Rose is an SOS treatment for lips and nails, leaving them silky soft.
What is it? Essential oils and floral waters derived from medicinal plants are used to create a line of bath oils, soaps and skincare products.

What is it? Bespoke fragrances, all made by hand. Founder Tammy Frazer works solely with top-quality natural and organic raw materials from suppliers across the world. Fact: Her grandfather was the chemist and inventor Graham Wulff, creator of iconic beauty elixir Oil of Olay.
ELLE loves: Nutmeg and Jasmine, inspired by Rajasthan, is a spicy, floral scent with hints of sandalwood and vanilla.
What is it? Going back to when South Africans used indigenous plants to
