A summer wardrobe is tough to navigate; it needs to be high on comfort while ticking the right boxes in the style department. Luckily, Good Earth’s summer collection has come to the rescue. A quick look at the luxury design house’s contemporary, handcrafted clothing line, Sustain, will give you visions of garden parties, fruit coolers and Stan Getz on loop. Pick from five collections, each featuring breezy silhouettes in lightweight fabrics like cotton silk, soft khadi, chanderi and linen gauze.
You’ll find relaxed separates with Kalamkari handblock printing in their daywear collection, Rubab. Nishat offers a romantic take with patchwork with motifs inspired by the blooms in Kashmir’s Nishat Bagh. Elegant zardozi on chanderi lehengas and odhanis bring an old-world feel to their eveningwear line, Umrao. But it’s their two sari ranges, Gulab Cheentz and Sitara that are stealing all the attention. While the former is for the contemporary soul with its mix of lehariya (tie-and-dye method) and punchy florals, Sitara emanates a timeless charm with sorbet shades and twinkling dana mukaish embellishments. We won’t judge you if you decide to buy out the entire collection.
