THE OCCASION
Peach and plum martinis, cascading flowers, twinkling tea lights all around. At the launch of Goodearth’s ‘Ratnakara’ home décor line in October 2013 – inspired by tropical South-east Asia – there was all this and more. Plus, an impromptu dance performance.
THE DÉCOR
The store was swathed in jewel tones, batik prints and palm leaf motifs that make up the ‘Ratnakara’ collection.
THE MENU
Fittingly, the spread was Pan Asian: Sri Lankan wattakka curry, braised Asian pork belly (a particular favourite) and bite-sized corn fritters with wasabi and soya.
