Gucci Museo goes digital

Want to go through the Gucci archives (stored at the Gucci Museo in Italy) in the comfort of your pyjamas? The label’s brand new website, www.guccimuseo.com, allows you to do just that.

The Florence museum, conceptualised by Creative Director Frida Giannini in 2011 to celebrate the label’s 90th anniversary, showcases a permanent exhibit that pays tribute to Gucci’s archive and also has a space dedicated to contemporary art installations. The website has three sections – the Archive to browse the brand’s history-creating moments; Gucci and Arts for contemporary art exhibits and initiatives; and The Museum for all FAQs – and is available in eight languages.
