When 26-year-old Harikrishnan from London College of Fashion made his graduate collection in latex, it took over the internet by storm as equal parts amusement and praises started pouring in. He stretched it out of its usual body-hugging silhouette and inflated them in anatomically impossible forms.

According to him, the collection celebrates the extremes of the human form with the disproportionate, inflatable latex trousers, created with a vision of a man in a vase, paired with cropped jackets. For some of the pieces, Harikrishnan also collaborated with the artisans of Channapatna in Karnataka, known for its wooden hand-beaded toys. “I reinterpreted the craft through wearables and attempted to make it dynamic and flexible.”
