A jumpsuit is no mere laze-about adult onesie; it’s a fierce, figure-elongating classic with a hint of carefree. A celeb-favourite, the likes of Bianca Jagger and Jerry Hall often wore them, as did ’70s bombshell Farrah Fawcett. More recently, Deepika Padukone and Ananya Panday were spotted at the airport twinning in denim jumpsuits. With Deepika Padukone was off to New York to attend the Met Gala, Ananya Panday was busy promoting her debut film Student of The Year 2.
However, both the actresses chose to style the denim jumpsuit in two very different ways.
Deepika’s couture Agolde jumpsuit cost a cool INR 17,216, and the actress accessorised it with a trusty black tote bag by Celine, a pair of bright pink Balenciaga pumps and round-framed sunglasses.
Meanwhile, Ananya’s high-street acid-washed Topshop number was quite a bargain, priced at INR 4,900. The young actress completed her look with a Balenciaga graffiti bag, retro sunnies and sneakers, for a younger, more laid-back vibe.
