Addressing the balance though, cricketer Yuvraj Singh and Bollywood actor Hazel Keech have tied the knot with a grand wedding, scripted straight out of Karan Johar’s dreams.

The Bodyguard actor opted for a flowing yellow anarkali (brides-to-be please note: flare and space for movement is everything when you’re elbows-deep in mehndi). She paired it with a pair of chandbalis and a mathapatti from Astha Jagwani and minimal make-up.
The sangeet ceremony saw a full haul with a monochrome JJ Valaya anarkali and embellished jacket. The polki maangtikka put in another appearance, along with peacock chandbalis from Astha Jagwani, a tiered necklace and a brown matte pout.
JJ Valaya sprinkled some more of his fairy dust for the wedding ceremony at the gurudwara. The result? A breathtaking pair of his-and-hers wedding outfits in deep, jewel tones of velvet. Hazel followed the traditional mandate for the auspicious combination of red and gold, but added her own spin with tousled hair, chandbalis and a traditional red juda.
The absence of a necklace and the judicious use of make-up saves the outfit from tipping into the OTT zone.
