Quantico season 1 delivered what it promised: a high-octane thriller with enough twists to keep us hooked. The fact that Priyanka Chopra was headlining the cast was a definite bonus. Here’s where we left off: Alex Parrish (Priyanka Chopra) was acquitted of all the charges against her, and we finally found out who the mastermind behind the conspiracy was: Liam. Simon dies heroically while saving humanity from a nuclear bomb. Alex is now in the clear, but doesn’t get her FBI badge. She decides to take the trip she had planned with Ryan, when a man claiming to be from the CIA shows up with an intriguing offer.

It’s increasingly hard to wait for Quantico season 2 isn’t it? We’ve rounded up everything we know about it so far:
1) The first episode is titled ‘Kudove,’ and that’s supposed to be a code word for the CIA. It appears Alex has taken them up on the offer.
2) This season will also feature dual story lines, though not as prominently as it did in season 1. Showrunner Joshua Safran confirmed this in an interview with TVLine and said that the central conspiracy is going to be even more dangerous than the previous one, threatening the whole world instead of just the USA.
3) Now that she’s left the FBI and joined CIA, Alex will go back in training. There’s clearly a lot that she needs to learn as the night is dark and full of terrors or winter is coming or some such.
4) There’s going to be a new cast of characters joining Alex’s squad. Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D star Blair Underwood, Pearl Thusi, Tracy Ifeachor, David Lim, Aaron Diaz and Russell Tovey have been confirmed to play key characters in season 2.
5) Some major characters from the previous season will play an important role in this one too. We know that Ryan (Jake McLaughlin) is returning. The season 1 finale suggested that we’re going to see more of Caleb (Graham Rogers) and his mother in the future, as Alex finds out about her involvement with Liam and the conspiracy to frame her. Also, Anjanue Ellis, Yasmine Al Massri and Johanna Brady are reprising their roles.
6) Alex will be roped in for a rescue mission.
7) Safran also confirmed that there is going to be less relationship drama in this season. We will get to see these characters and how they are adapting to life after the events of the first season. While there will be some romantic story lines that will continue, the focus will largely remain on the conspiracy. (Is Ryan going to propose Alex? We. Need. Answers.)
