Adding a contemporary spin to classic dishes, Monkey Bar offers Kosha Mangsho Kathi Roll (a twist on the kosha mangsho wrapped in a flaky porota), Bhetki Bhaatey (the traditional fish paturi re-imagined as a small plate) and Beguni Chaat (the much-loved street food of batter fried brinjal fritters in a new avatar). The Fatty Bao swings more to the east with its Indo-Chinese offerings such as Chinese Bhel and Dragon Chicken.

5. Masala Art At Taj Palace (New Delhi) 

If you intend on fasting till Dussehra and are on the hunt for a place to savour Navratri’s delicacies, opt for Masala Art’s thali. The festive spread served in a silver thali consists of millets, indigenous vegetables, and ingredients specifically consumed during the fasting period. 6. Hungry Cat Kitchen (Mumbai)

The brainchild of Subhashree Basu, this delivery kitchen is known for its slow-cooked, authentic Bengali dishes. And with Durga Pujo just a few hours away, the chef has a bunch of mouth-watering treats. Take your pick from the Durga Puja Special menu with dishes like Prawn Cocktail Salad, Bengali Style Machher Chop, Fish Florentine, among other delicacies (only available till October 17). If you’re in the mood for a family feast, choose the Hungry Cat Kitchen’s Pujor Adda Box curated till October 15. This consists of five items that are enough for four people.
