Sadly for Liam and Miley fans, the couple’s split is in fast forward mode as Hemsworth files for a divorce from Cyrus, citing “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the tragic breakup.
A friend of the couple was quoted saying, “Liam is just done with it. There is no turning back and he knows he wants to move on. They have not had a lot of communication. There is nothing to say.”

While Liam has been spending time with his family in Australia post the couple’s split, miley has been taking time off in Italy with her sister, Brandi Cyrus and Kaitlynn Carter. In addition to spending time with loved ones, the singer is focusing on her career. Miley released the song “Slide Away” just moments after the separation was announced.
Cyrus and Hemsworth’s reps officially announced the couple’s breakup on August 10, this upsetting news came as a shock to many, given the couple’s decade long dating history. Alas, we can only wish them happiness moving forward, individually, if not together.
