As the fashion month continues to take its course across the capitals, it’s hard to keep up with all the buzz. Apart from the action on the runway, fashion’s major highlight this week was power-packed campaigns and collaborations. Back home, FDCI and Lakmé Fashion Week announced another joint edition – while Label Ritu Kumar is all set to launch a fresh face to represent the brand. 1. Kourtney Kardashian And Megan Fox Pair Up For A Skims Campaign

Both Megan and Kourtney made multiple public appearances this month with their respective rockstar boyfriends Machine Gun Kelly and Travis Barker. 2. Luxury House Kering announces the ban of fur across all brands
Highlight 2 – Gucci Fall/Winter 2016 campaign
One of the largest fashion conglomerates in the world – Kering, which owns brands like Gucci, YSL and Alexander McQueen has announced its initiative to be fur-free. “For many years, Kering has sought to take the lead in sustainability, guided by a vision of luxury that is inseparable from the very highest environmental and social values and standards. When it comes to animal welfare, our Group has always demonstrated its willingness to improve practices within its own supply chain and the luxury sector in general. The time has now come to take a further step forward by ending the use of fur in all our collections,” shared François-Henri Pinault, Chairman and CEO of Kering.
3. Shanaya Kapoor is the new face of Label Ritu Kumar

The youngest member of the Kapoor clan, Shanaya Kapoor, has been named as the newest face of Label Ritu Kumar. Following the footsteps of Tara Sutaria and Kiara Advani, the 21-year-old will be a part of various campaigns for the brand. Representing the Gen-Z energy, Shanaya will be seen in fresh prints and contemporary silhouettes – the design language Ritu Kumar’s pret label is known for.
4. Tom Ford’s Husband Richard Buckley Passed Away
Highlight 4 – Fashion Editor Richard Buckley with Designer Tom Ford
Richard Buckley, a reputed fashion editor and husband to designer Tom Ford, passed away at the age of 72 due to prolonged illness. The couple was together for 27 years before they tied the knot in 2014, after welcoming their only son Jack in 2012. Richard was a renowned name in the world of fashion journalism. His body of work included contributions at publications like the New York Magazine, Women’s Wear Daily, Vanity Fair and Vogue Hommes International.
5. Prada Showcased Simultaneous Shows In Milan And Shanghai
Highlight 5 – Prada S/S 2022 show in Milan and Shanghai
Prada’s co-creative directors Miuccia Prada and Raf Simons created history by unveiling the label’s Spring/Summer 2022 collection in Milan and Shanghai on the same date. “Doing these shows simultaneously demonstrates a new possibility… Community is a vital idea: drawing together people who share ideologies, values, and beliefs,” shared Simons in the official press release.
6. FDCI X Lakmé Fashion Week To Host their 2nd Fashion Week Together
Highlight 6 – Pankaj Nidhi India Couture Week 2021 Presentation
Fashion heavy-weights in India – Lakmé, RISE and FDCI have reunited once again. After their first successful stint in March, they are all set to present a joint phygital fashion week in October 2021. Couturier Tarun Tahiliani will be opening the fashion week with a grand show. Followed by names like Anamika Khanna, Pankaj & Nidhi and MXS by Monisha Jaising and Shweta Bachchan headlining the roaster.
6. Versace And Fendi Collaborate On A Special Collection ‘Fendace’
Highlight 7 – Amber Valletta and Kate Moss for the Vercase X Fendi collaboration
Presented on the courtyard of the Versace family palazzo on Via Gesu — Versace and Fendi demonstrated an iconic collaboration. Kim Jones, Silvia Venturini Fendi and Donatella Versace swapped roles for one night. The designers created 25 looks for the rival house, and as a result, fashion witnessed its finest juxtaposition. Titled Fendace, the starry runway show had ’90s supermodels like Naomi Campbell, Amber Valletta and Kate Moss walking alongside Gigi Hadid, Precious Lee and Emily Ratajkowski.
