Priyanka Chopra to Deepika Padukone — Highlights from the Met Gala 2018

As per tradition, the Met Gala 2018 took place on the first Monday of May, with all of Hollywood and Bollywood’s A-listers making an appearance. This year’s theme paid tribute to The Metropolitan Museum of Art’s upcoming exhibition ‘Heavenly Bodies: Fashion and the Catholic Imagination’, and celebrities reinterpreted the traditions of Catholicism through their ensembles. Amidst the multiple religious references — Priyanka Chopra came dressed as a (fashionable) woman from the Vatican city in a deep maroon velvet gown from Ralph Lauren complete with Swarovski headgear; Rihanna, in her papal crown and cape designed by Maison Margiela, looked like she borrowed the most fabulous fashion relics she could find in the pope’s closet — the highlight was clearly not the outfit, but the accessories that went with them. Crowns, veils, hats inspired by the pope — we had them all. Here are all the best looks (headpieces included) from Met Gala 2018:
