It’s effortlessly cool
Inspired by Manhattan’s East Village, Manu Chandra’s newest venture is a bar with a global “new-American” menu and a laid-back rustic vibe. Plus, it rides the all-things-handmade wave with house cured and house made sausages, smoked meats, mustards, syrups, and breads – all made with precise, modernist techniques.
It’s making Indian flavours international
It embraces the best of regional produce and turns the spotlight on Indian ingredients: gondhoraj lemons, amaranth leaves, fresh-pressed mustard oil, local burrata, feta and Bandel cheese. Interestingly, it weaves them into French, Italian and Asian dishes. Expect young jackfruit and smoked goat cheese tostadas with white bean puree, guacamole and jalapeno cream; smoked Cochin mackerel on sourdough; a buttery gobindobhog and kasundhi risotto; jaggery pot du crème served with banana jaggery cake; noren gur and coffee cardamom ice-cream.
It’ll make you happy high
You’re spoiled for choice with an extensive flavoured tonic water selection (all that extend to a potent G&T). Choose from the Granada Tonic (pomegranate and cinnamon), Bacon Old Fashioned (bacon infused bourbon, bitters, orange), T&T Negroni (Gin, Campari, Martini Rosso, strawberry spice shrub) or indulge in innovative cocktails like the Matcha Daiquiri (matcha tea, rum, honey and lime) and Royal Bengal Mojito (gold rum, gondhoraj lemon, nolen gur, mint and pineapple). Salud!
