The new spot for drinks-after-work in Mumbai happens to be the second outpost of Social (after one in Colaba). The place doubles as a co-working space during the day. For a membership fee of Rs 5,000, you’ll get access to a spot to park yourself, high-speed Wi-Fi, a boardroom and locker facility and an in-house 3D printer (you’ll have to pay extra for the printer, of course).
Most of the essentials stay the same: industrial decor and innovative bar eats and cocktails (The Longest Long Island iced tea, is exactly as heavenly as it sounds). The new menu additions include drinks like The Lantern (Jim Bean and smoked orange marmalade), Schizophrenia (Absolut Kurant with orchid and lavender) and the U.S. Mule (green apple and smoked gin with Earl Grey tea and Tang) and eats like Iroon Junglee Poro (Irani omelette with sweet bun or brun pao), salchipapas (fries with Thousand Island dressing, honey mustard chicken sausages and a fried egg) and pork belly pops.
Also, compared to its Colaba outpost, the split-level Todi Mill Social is much bigger and can seat upto 225 people. So your chances of getting at table at Social this Friday night got a whole lot better.
