Call it a brainchild of the world wide web or a sweet devil, but the fact remains that hot chocolate bombs are here for good. With temperatures dropping and holiday movies on repeat, this seems like an indulgence to make it only better. Lest you despise a sugar rush, you can’t compete with the visually compelling and viral glory of hot chocolate bombs.

Here’s how you can make one at home.

Ingredients:

Chocolate
Silicone mould
Cocoa powder
Marshmallows
Sprinkles (optional)
And if you’re feeling extra, then pop in anything sweet that your heart desires.

Method:

Melt the chocolate and spread in a circular mould. Leave it in the fridge to harden.

Add the marshmallows, sprinkles etc. in one of the spheres and ‘glue’ with the other sphere by melting the chocolate on edge.

That’s all!

Go all out with icing sugar, sugar hearts or stars, edible glitter and decorate the bombs. PS. It’s a no judgement zone during the holidays.

Succeeded in making the hot chocolate bombs look bougie? Why not gift them to your loved ones? Our say: make packs of three bombs packed with cute ribbons and gift paper. Not only is it a great handmade gifting idea but also perfect for Christmas.

Afterall, ‘tis the season of family, friends and food.
