How to: Hairdos from Game Of Thrones
Steal your favourite character's hairstyle with this step-by-step guide
While you were focussing on the Game of Thrones’ latest plot twists, we were scoping out our favourite hairstyles from the show. From braids to totally badass curls, we asked Mark Hampton, global brand ambassador, TONI&GUY HairMeetWardrobe to decode them for us.
Treat your hair to TONI&GUY HairMeetWardrobe’s Moisturising Shine Spray to create smooth locks. Take a large section of hair from the front and plait it into a reverse French braid – this may take a few attempts. Tie the braids into a ponytail at the back of your head.
Take another section of hair (slightly lower than the plaits) and twist them into a reverse French braid. Tie the two plaits right above the ponytail of the previous braids.
Before you set to work with a curling tong, apply a few drops of TONI&GUY HairMeetWardrobe Shine Gloss Serum for ultra-smooth curls. Spritz TIGI Bed Head Blow Dry Lotion on damp hair and blast dry hair. Remember to never use a curling tong on damp hair.
Heat up the curling iron and work with smaller sections to create Ellaria’s tight curls. Start with sections at the bottom of the head and work upwards. Mist your curls with hair spray to make sure it lasts long.
Prep damp hair with TONI&GUY HairMeetWardrobe Heat Protection Mist to protect it against damage and breakage caused by heat styling. Blow dry using your fingers to separate the hair.
Create a centre part and section off some hair above the ears. Twist a loose braid on each side and use a transparent elastic band to secure the two sections at the back of your head.
Wash your hair before going to bed and apply Wella Mirror Polish Shine Serum to tame frizz. While your hair is still damp, braid it into a loose plait and leave it overnight.
In the morning untangle the plait with your fingers to get Margaery’s rumpled waves. Draw a gentle centre part, take a section from the front and twist it away from the face pinning it to the back of your head.
Take a larger section of hair from your temples and twist it back, pinning them parallel to the earlier twists. Mist TONI&GUY HairMeetWardrobe Sea Salt Texturising Spray to add some body to your wavy hair.
