How to:
1. Never buy a nude lipstick without trying it on your lips (not your hand) first. Even the natural colour of your lip affects how it’s going to look when actually worn, so this is important.
2. Pale beiges rarely, if ever, look good on warm-toned skin. Instead, try colours that best match your natural lip colour, or are a shade pinker.
3. Spent a bomb on a too-pale lipstick that makes you look washed out? Use it to dull down brighter pinks and darker browns into almost-nude shades.
