For as long as we can remember the colour orange has been tough to pull off, but new A/W 2015 beauty trends have us thinking otherwise. While the shade has (literally) been on everyone's lips, it sneaked in to eye and cheek palettes too. From a pop coral shade to the deep rust, there are multiple ways to wear this shade, and more importantly to own it!
Brighter shades of orange will flatter warm skin tones while someone with a cooler skin tone should go for a shade with blue undertones.
Shades like salmon and apricot are perfect to highlight your cheekbones and give your face a beautiful tanned look. Use a creamy blush or a tint that makes it easier to blend the shade and gives a close-to-natural colour.
Orange eye shadow looks stunning in any variant whether it’s with a traditional outfit or classic jeans and a t-shirt. Blend it across your eyelids with a hint of brown for a warm smokey effect or apply some opaque shadow across your lid and wear it with neutral lips.
For a twist on the classic winged eyeliner, apply an orange eyeliner across your upper lash line and highlight the inner corners of your eyes with a white liner. To take the look from day to night, line your lower lash line with some kajal and extend it a little further from your lash line for a cat-eye look.
For something a little more subtle try an orange lip tint or wear a tinted lip balm for a more natural colour. Sweep some honey-toned bronzer on your cheeks and you’re set.
