Actress Jacqueline Fernandez is all set to add another feather to her cap — the star recently revealed that she will soon be launching her own Thai restaurant in the suburbs of Mumbai. In partnership with her best friend and restaurateur Mishali Sanghani, who owns Pali Village Café, the star has settled in on the popular suburb of Bandra as the location of her restaurant, since that is where she lives.
This is not the first time Jacqueline is entering the restaurant business — the actress already owns a fine-dining restaurant, Kaema Sutra, in partnership with chef Dharshan Munidasa in her hometown, Colombo. While Kaema Sutra offers authentic Sri Lankan food, her new venture won’t have the same cuisine. “I feel Mumbai needs a great Thai restaurant. There aren’t too many good ones out here and Thai food is one of my favourites. So the whole germ came from there,” Jacqueline was quoted as saying.
The star is currently deciding on the menu (which we’re sure is going to be a healthy one, given her love for fitness) and the décor (fun and quirky, just like her?). We can’t wait to dig in.
