After crossing the 30 million follower mark on Instagram, Jacqueline Fernandez is set to conquer a new social media platform. A private person, Jacqueline was initially hesitant to sign up on Instagram. That was a few years ago. Cut to 2019 and the actor is comfortable with showcasing snippets of her life and work—routinely sharing relatable and unfiltered selfies, dance videos and more. Jacqueline is now taking the next step—taking over YouTube. The video sharing platform also saw Alia Bhatt kickstart her own channel a few weeks ago.
Jacqueline’s new channel, which launched today, will act as a vlog for her travel adventures and also feature fitness and beauty experts. Jacqueline herself will dole out tips and hacks that she’s picked up over the years. You can also expect the actor sharing her views on being happy, overcoming fear and living your dreams. Her first video serves as a snippet of her journey—from her childhood and growing up years to her life as an A-list celebrity. It includes never-seen-before video footage, including her modelling attempt as a teenager.
So, will the YouTube channel share behind-the-scenes action from movie sets? “Actually, that is something I will be doing less of. People have seen so much of that on my Instagram. Besides, the BTS of magazine shoots, red carpet and films are already available on YouTube. I am going to give something that people haven’t seen yet, the BTS behind the BTS,” Jacqueline told DNA.
You can look forward to your favourite celebrities making an appearance in Jacqueline’s videos. Our guess? Her BFF Sonam Kapoor will be the first Bollywood face we see on the new channel.
