This is Jacqueline Fernandez’s go-to make-up look

Bonus: Her secret skin weapon costs literally nothing

It doesn’t take a copious study of her Instagram feed to know that Jacqueline Fernandez actively shuns the predictable. From movie promotions to airport sightings, she always has something new for the shutterbugs. But here’s what celebrity make-up artist Namrata Soni says about her client’s preferred make-up look: “Fresh, dewy skin. Jacqueline swears by the ‘no make-up’ make-up look, working it into everything from promotional events to red carpets with ease.”

Getting the gorgeous @jacquelinef143 ready. Always fun ❤️❤️❤️

Seeing as some of us were busy grabbing extra shut-eye when they were handing out good skin (guilty!), we pressed Soni to spill the secret behind the Jacqueline’s morning-dew fresh glow. Spoiler: it doesn’t cost all the ka-ching that you thought it would. “She believes in icing her skin; it works wonders for closing open pores and gives you that soft flush,” explains Soni.

Jacqueline Fernandez’s go-to look

Jacqueline rocking the dewy look, front and square, for a fashion campaign last year. Pro tip: To cop the look without looking like a Bharat Petroleum campaign, remember that the dewiness needs to be restricted to the areas on your face that catch the light.

Most would have reached for a red matte lipper with their eyes closed, but not our Jacqueline. The no make-up look coupled with a nude hue serves her in good stead. (Not sure which nude lipstick works best for your skin? We’ve rounded the 10 best ones worth investing in.)

Night out on Valentine’s eve? Jacqueline gave in to the romantic spirit with a bomb velvet number from Topshop, but the no make-up look reigned supreme.

No muss, no fuss: Jacqueline went in for the kill with the elaborate braid, but when it came to her make-up, the nude look made the cut.
