Jhanvi Kapoor’s sexy twist on the traditional lehenga has our vote

Jhanvi Kapoor rocked up to the red carpet of the International Film Festival of India (IFFI) in Goa, giving us a whole new way to wear the traditional lehenga. For the occasion — her first official red carpet as a debutante actress — Jhanvi called on Kareena Kapoor’s favourite stylist Tanya Ghavri to do the honours. She choose an Anamika Khanna couture ensemble, a fresh take on the traditional lehenga with the skirt split down the front to reveal embroidered pants. “Anamika Khanna truly defines modern Indian couture and makes a woman feel feminine sexy and powerful all that I wanted for this gorgeous girl for her first red carpet after her debut film announcement,” explained Ghavri in an Instagram post.

Jhanvi kept her make-up minimal, allowing her wavy hair (don’t miss the hidden braids) to complement the bohemian look. A statement clutch and vintage drop earrings were her only accessories.
