For over a year now, Sridevi’s young daughters Jhanvi and Khushi Kapoor have made it their singular mission to establish themselves as the most stylish siblings from Bollywood’s next generation. Whether they’re attending Diwali parties dressed in head-to-toe Manish Malhotra, or hitting up the streets of Los Angeles in cropped tops and thigh-high boots, sisters Jhanvi and Khushi trot out the best of their enviable wardrobes for their growing fanbase. And at Shilpa Shetty’s Diwali bash last night, things proved no different.
Jhanvi Kapoor chose to go bright in a sea-green lehenga with colourful sequinned embroidery, long hair let down in natural waves. Diamond drop earrings and a hot pink studded clutch completed her look. Her younger sister, Khushi, on the other hand chose a more neutral ensemble, wearing a blush corset choli with a heavily embellished lehenga skirt. Unlike her older sister, Khushi chose to go with the ’90s trend of poker straight hair, accessorised with a maang tikka.
And judging by mom Sridevi’s appearance in a gunmetal sheer sari with statement necklace, it’s clear that great style runs in the genes.
