Inspired by the festival of lights, the collection pays homage to India’s style and sophistication through luxurious velvet bags and silk scarves that are reminiscent of the golden light of a burning diya.
“Diwali celebrates the joyful festival of light which feels full of optimism. A luminous beauty is created by the myriad forms of twinkling lights displayed during the Diwali celebration. I wanted to create pieces that reflected this with an embroidery design that was inspired by the magical, dancing light of diyas floating on water,” explains Sandra Choi, creative director.
Signature designs like the Celeste bag have been reinterpreted in tones of royal gold and in a variety of fabrics. Glamorous finishes like shadow coarse glitter and embroidery on velvet lend a graceful touch.
Each covetable design is also embellished with a unique plaque engraved with ‘Exclusive for India’, making each piece a collectible.
