Karan Johar's latest multi-starrer, Takht, has Kareena, Alia, Janhvi and more

Trust Karan Johar to make things exciting in Bollywood — after successfully launching Janhvi Kapoor in his film Dhadak (a hit that has garnered close to Rs 75 crore so far), the filmmaker has begun preparations for his next project that features a stellar cast. The good news? Almost the entire Kapoor khandan (and then some) is coming together for this film, titled Takht: Kareena Kapoor Khan, Alia Bhatt, Anil Kapoor, Ranveer Singh, Janhvi Kapoor, Vicky Kaushal and Bhumi Pednekar. The bad news? You'll have to be patient for this one; Takht will release in 2020.

We've seen Kareena and Alia work their magic in Udta Punjab, and having Janhvi and Bhumi in the picture will surely make it an exciting mix. In Alia's own words, it's going to be a "historical magnum opus".
