Karisma Kapoor beauty secrets, unearthed
ELLE: How do you start your day?
Karisma Kapoor: The first thing I do after waking up is drink a glass of warm water. I’m a morning person so I start off my day with a workout or yoga. It’s like having some me-time right before you start your routine.
ELLE: What’s a daily wellness habit you indulge in?
KK: It’s very important to take care of yourself. Wellness can be as simple as ensuring you’re sipping on a lot of fluids throughout the day to stay hydrated. But when I have to pamper myself, I take some time out to indulge in a long skincare routine.
ELLE: What are your beauty essentials?
KK: I love having fresh skin that’s paired with a bright lip balm and kohl-rimmed eyes. I’m currently using the Pond’s Age Miracle cream and it makes my skin look glow because it works non-stop even when I’m on the go. When it comes to fragrances, I always find myself going back to a strong, floral scent, no matter what the occasion.
ELLE: What’s the one beauty habit everyone should follow?
KK: I cannot stress more about the importance of a good skincare routine. Take off all your make-up before going to bed. Then, follow with an oil-based serum and a face cream to keep your skin in the best health.
ELLE: What makes you the happiest?
KK: Spending time with my children, Kiaan and Samiera and my nephew, Taimur Ali Khan.
