Tommy Hilfiger is showcasing #TOMMYNOW, its first ever in-season fashion show, which means that you can buy it soon after it hits the runway. If your tickets to New York Fashion Week were lost in the mail (or if that’s what you’re telling people anyway) you can watch the show unfold right here.
The show features Tommy Hilfiger’s Fall 2016 designs as well as the much-hyped TommyxGigi collab. Hadid, who has already given us a preview of her designer debut on Instagram, will be opening the show. Expect nautical-inspired separates, statement jackets and knit sweater dresses. “#TOMMYNOW is the ultimate expression of my brand philosophy, and the show I have always wanted to present,” says the designer. “We believe in creating fun, inspiring experiences that fuse fashion and entertainment. Having supermodel and social media icon Gigi Hadid headlining this event will be an unforgettable moment, and I am excited to share it with all our friends and fans around the world on Friday night.”
The show will be supplemented with a two-day fashion carnival of sorts, called the ‘Tommy Pier’. Keep an eye out for TommyXGigi pop-up shops, a Tommy Hilfiger vintage shop, a 40 foot Ferris wheel, fairground rides and more at Manhattan’s Pier 16 in South Street Seaport.
