With fashion weeks going digital, it came as no surprise that FDCI’s Lotus Makeup India Fashion Week was a virtual affair. What we were in complete awe of, though, was the way the designers took creating digital fashion films into their stride. The designers showcasing at the phygital (bridging the digital and physical world with the purpose of providing a unique interactive experience for the user) show recreated runways, and told complex narratives through their films, as an accompaniment to their fabulous collections. With fringes, ruffles and tons of vibrant colours featured on the runway, scroll on to see the highlights from the collections featured at LMIFW SS’21.
