Everything To Look Forward To At London Fashion Week This February

Following viral trends from the runways of the hottest fashion capitals of the world (remember the towering platform heels seen at the Valentino show in Paris?), all eyes will now turn to the bustling city of London. And this time around, London Fashion Week returns with a complete digital makeover from Feb 19 to 23. The best part? Watch out for Indian fashion designers Kaushik Velendra (who will be new to the LFW schedule) and Supriya Lele’s stellar creations.

British-Indian designer Supriya Lele is not new to the runways of LFW. What About Shopping The Looks?

For the first time, a new highlight for this season will be a focus on designers who will be open for wholesale purchase. This new, additional feature will notify buyers with a roster of brands from where they can place wholesale orders.

What About Other Homegrown, Emerging Designers?

In its first initiative, DiscoveryLAB is going digital, with the aim to support emerging designers who do not yet meet the main schedule criteria. DiscoveryLAB was created as an experiential space where fashion meets art, technology, music, and this will continue to evolve in the digital capacity. Expect two to three daily 10-minute digital sessions, resulting in 12 DiscoveryLAB slots in total.

Here’s the provisional schedule announced by the British Fashion Council.
