It’s been a huge hit on social media ever since the release of the song, ‘Sachi Muchi’, where we see a lean wrestler trade her sweatshirts for a chikankari ensemble at a traditional nikaah. The cinema-inspired fashion brand Diva’ni has designed and styled her look from their upcoming Lafz collection. “Lafz is an initiative for Diva’ni’s craftsmen – the real Sultans in our eyes,” says Sanya Dhir, creative director of Diva’ni. The line features gota, dabka and nakshi embroidery and Sharma’s outfit, in particular, has been embellished with zardosi. Expect resplendent lehengas, kurtas and saris teamed with unconventional jackets, blouses and crop tops, that should easily sort you out for a wedding.
