The ONE thing you couldn’t miss at Namrata Joshipura and Lakmé’s Insta Light-inspired show, was the make-up – especially the frosty lips with just a swipe of shimmer on the eyes. We caught up with celebrity make-up artist and Lakmé’s brand ambassador Daniel Bauer to learn more.
The theme:
“For Namrata Joshpuri’s show we fused light, fashion and reflection. Equipped with futuristic, illuminated headgear, I gave the models a super wet skin gel look using the Lakmé Absolute Skin Gloss Gel Crème.”
The statement lips:
“For the lips I used shimmer particles and tiny crystals that are painted onto the lips.”
The slick hair:
“For hair, we played with the gel look. We went with super sleek, pulled-back hair. We textured the crown with lots of mousse and then used hair spray after it set. And we finished by applying a hair shine spray from TRESemmé. For nails, we used Lakmé’s new frosty in natural.”
