Designer Masaba Mantena’s calendar is always busy. After launching her own line of bags last year and cute collaboration with Clinique, the designer just released a line of kidswear only via Flipkart.com and Hopscotch.in.
“Kidswear somehow doesn’t get the same attention as womenswear or even menswear,” she says. “We have tied up with Magic Fairy from Kolkata for the line. The idea was to take all the signature prints from the collection and mix it up with some new stuff.”
Her collection is aimed at tots anywhere between the ages of two and nine. They can look forward to T-shirts, party dresses, skirts and tops, trousers and shorts in adorable prints – think candies, birds, and her signature camera motif.
