Look, it’s not like politicians and their families wear cheap clothing. Hillary Clinton and Michelle Obama have both come under fire for wearing $12,000 outfits. But Melania Trump just wore a $51,500 Dolce & Gabbana coat, which is about $7,000 more than the average American’s yearly salary.

According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, the average American made $846 a week in the last quarter of 2016, or approximately $44,148 a year. But of course, FLOTUS will be able to afford it with the tax break she and her husband get if AHCA is passed. And what’s 23 million uninsured Americans compared to such a fun jacket? Drain the swamp!

Dolce & Gabbana: Fall/Winter ’17

One of the few design houses who actively court Melania Trump — most others refused to be associated with the First Lady of the US because of her husband’s poor public image — Dolce & Gabbana have always relied on social influencers to boost their reach. At their fall/winter ’17 presentation, the label invited real-life princesses, fashion bloggers, veteran models and more to take over the ramp.

The celebrity blogger behind Song of Style, Aimee Song has over 4.4 million followers on Instagram alone.

Chloe and Halle Bayley are sisters and YouTube stars, and come Beyoncé-approved after their cover of her song, 'Pretty Hurts' went viral. Which is probably how the Dolce & Gabbana team first spotted them.

As if being half-Swedish and half-Thai doesn't instantly elevate your exotic appeal, model/actress Praya Lundberg is also a UN Goodwill Ambassador.

Jason Harvey and his entire gorgeous family walked the ramp in Milan. We're not sure why his comedian father Steve Harvey didn't make the cut, but we're guessing a goodie bag filled with Dolce & Gabbana will more than make up for the missing invite.

Behold, world. This is what the offspring of Tommy Lee and Pamela Anderson looks like.

Tabitha Simmons designs shoes for a living, but every now and then, she likes to slip into her former guise of runway model. We're not complaining.

Brazilian-born model Andrea Dellal and her daughters Charlotte Olympia (accessories designer) and model Alice Dellal like to keep it in the family.

Sarah Snyder is dating Will Smith's son, Jaden, but her real claim to fame is that 1.1 million strong Instagram following.
