This is the most expensive manicure in the world

The world’s most expensive manicure first made headlines in 2013, when Kelly Osbourne wore a $1 million Azature white diamond nail polish to a charity event, and much to everyone’s surprise, this ultra luxe service actually became a favourite among the rich and famous. And, fret not. The service is now available to us common folk as well for a whopping Rs 19,07,250.

Los Angeles-based luxury jewellery couturier Azature Pogosian, largely considered the ‘Black Diamond King’, and whose namesake label has adorned stars including Rihanna and BeyoncĂ©, produced a one-of-a-kind bottle of diamond-infused nail polish that has created quite the stir with celebrity clients. Containing 267 carats of black diamonds, this luxe lacquer is the ultimate fine jewel and will set you back a quarter of a million dollars.

“One day I thought, why not showcase this style on nails?’ says Pogosian. ‘So I developed a Black Diamond Nail Polish with the same attention and quality as my jewellery in order to preserve the elegance of the black diamond.”

At Rs 1.58 crore per bottle, it would make sense then that the most expensive nail polish in the world also comes with the most expensive manicure service. The formula is very specific when it comes to application (Azature won’t spill the beans, so you’ll have to see for yourself), and the service is performed only by a very select few celebrity manicurists, each nail costing over Rs 1.9 lakh to paint.

Costing Rs 19.07 lakh altogether, we wonder if this ‘special’ manicure comes with something else super ‘special’? For that price, NSYNC should get back together and perform a song while your nails dry, and Justin Timberlake better throw in a pedicure too.

Azature Black Diamond Nail Lacquer and Luxury Professional Lacquer are available to shop online
