MUJI comes to India

Tired of stocking up on those travel-sized containers, spartan stationery and pristine bedding every time you visit a MUJI store abroad? Don’t fret. Because the Japanese retail giant is all set to launch in India in partnership with Reliance Brands. They’re looking to launch stand-alone stores in Mumbai and Delhi in the first quarter of 2016. Are you ready for the clean, uncluttered lifestyle that MUJI promises? We know we are. Especially since we learned this fun fact: The name MUJI comes from the Japanese phrase ‘Mujirushi Ryohin’, meaning ‘no-brand, quality goods’.
