This manicure trend is perfect for bad decision makers

If there is anyone who loves nail art as much as we do, it’s beauty entrepreneur and reality TV star Kylie Jenner. In April this year, Kylie debuted mismatched, bright-coloured yet understated French tips (yes, it is possible) and inspired many nail art designs. Keeping in sync with the multihued trend, she has once more inspired us to un-match our nails and we’re not complaining. If picking a polish is the bane of your existence, the all-in-one nail art trend is going to be right up your alley. The only rule: Get creative. Negative space? Check. Abstract art? Check. Florals and fruits? Yes, everything goes.

Squiggly lines, dots and blue cheetah print…remember when we said get artistic? Like Kylie, go for a nude base and top it off with colourful designs.

Go for wavy stripes on your natural nails and finish with a glossy top coat to make colours pop. The more asymmetric the designs, the better it’ll look.

If you’re obsessed with everything tie and dye, may I suggest recreating this simpler-than-it-looks nail art? Start with a white base and toothpick and make sure you pick vivid shades.

Colourblocked nails are still having a moment and we’re not complaining. Does it get easier than a no tools needed mani? Just pick up your favourite shades from your polish collection and swipe on two stripes on each nail.

Love nail art but can’t draw a straight line to save your life? No worries. Pick up some nail art stickers and mimic the real deal.

Do not underestimate the pick-me-up powers of a cute manicure. Case in point: This mix of cow and cheetah print and some fruits and flowers won’t fail to make you smile every time you look at your nails.
