She always dreamt of being a Yash Raj heroine, and when Shivani Raghuvanshi landed Kanu Behl’s Titli, she was almost disappointed. “There were no beautiful locations, no elaborate costumes — I didn’t even want to take on the role when I read the script,” says Raghuvanshi, who plays Neelu, feisty companion to her fledgling-criminal husband. But the Delhi University graduate is glad she stuck with it. While Titli amasses critical acclaim on the international film circuit, she’s spending her days in Himachal Pradesh shooting for her next, untitled film starring Rajat Barmecha (of Udaan fame).
