Neha Agarwal at Lakmé Fashion Week winter/festive 2017

Madhubani tribal prints engaged in fashion warfare on the ramp at the 6° studio, Lakme Fashion week. Neha Agarwal took indentifiably Indian motifs on indo-western wear and the result was something the Amazons would have worn, were they living in India in 2017.

‘Mithila in Soho’ showcased that you can take the girl out of India but you can’t take the Indian out of the girl. Bold colours and bolder motifs were fighting for attention on athliesure-inspired silhouettes. Printed velvets, draped pants and plunging necklines completed the unmistakeable kitsch collection.
