Neha Dhupia posted a loved-up photo with fellow actor and new husband Angad Bedi on Instagram, with the caption, “Best decision of my life.. today, I married my best friend. Hello there, husband!”
Update: Neha Dhupia and Angad Bedi just released a statement on their super-secret marriage: “Marrying your best friend is one of the greatest feelings in the world, and we are extremely fortunate to have found love in each other. It has been a beautiful journey knowing each other and after formalizing the wedding earlier this year, today, we exchanged our vows in a beautifully simple, private and intimate Anand Karaj ceremony in Delhi. We look forward to celebrating and sharing this special moment with our friends and colleagues in Mumbai in the next couple of weeks. Thank you for showering us with so much love. Your blessings have truly made this day so much more special.”
We weren’t sure what to make of it (could this be the smartest movie promotion tactic ever…) until Karan Johar responded to the news with an ecstatic repost, “The look of love!!! The marriage of eternal happiness!!!! #nehaangad CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!” Kunal Khemu soon followed that with his own congratulations, saying “So happy for these two, Neha Dhupia and Angad Bedi. Wish you an incredible journey together. Love you both. Shaadi Mubarak.”
Angad Bedi posted another photo of him staring lovingly at his new bride Neha Dhupia with the caption, “Best friend.. now Wife!!! Well hello there Mrs BEDI!!!”
Neha Dhupia wore a gorgeous pastel pink lehenga from designer Anita Dongre (the bridal colour theme of the season, if you recall Sonam Kapoor’s pheras) while the groom matched her in a white bandhgala and pink turban.
Echoing all our thoughts, photographer Atul Kasbekar posted on Neha’s Instagram saying, “One tight whack for this whole super secret thing. Other than that, I love you guys.”
