Trend to try: Bare face and neon lips

Unapologetically bright lips are the only way forward

Fluorescent lips have made a big comeback—blame it on our collective craze for the ’80s, if you must. Models at Versus, Jason Wu and Mary Katrantzou walked down the runway in electric fuchsia and tangerine lips. At Cushnie et Ochs, two-toned lips pushed the envelope and at Kenzo, a cherry mouth was paired with equally bright blush. Off the runway, the bare face and bright lip combo seems to be a hit. Apply colour in the centre of your lips and blend it with your fingers—a great way to make intimidating shades play nice. Or give this trend your best with a liquid matte lipstick.
