Jewellery label NIMAI has announced the launch of Promise, a bangle that comes engraved with the words and features a secret compartment to store a handwritten vow. The brand is doing their part too publicly pledging themselves to support the causes of women empowerment and artisan upliftment with the launch of their fashion-forward bangle. In this case, the brand has chosen Laxmi, an acid attack survivor, who has valiantly raised her voice and encouraged other survivors to speak up about the perils of being attacked with acid. Three percent of sales will be donated to her on a monthly basis.

The Promise bangle comes in two colours — gold and rose gold tints (brass and copper with polish) — and is priced at Rs 2,990. The gift box also contains a pencil and a piece of paper for you to write your vow on. It also makes for a great gift for this Christmas season.
