After teaming up with designers like Giles Deacon, Henry Holland and Mawi, KOOVS brings us their first collaboration with an Indian label, with Delhi-based designers Pankaj & Nidhi.
The line takes off from their FW 2015-16 collection, and it uses prints that resemble shattered glass, broken gems, and cards (used as borders). “Our love for reflections formed the basis of this collection,” says Pankaj. “Daintily-painted crockery are laid over in a fish scale pattern; its fragility rendered in a fascinating collage of broken plates. The shattered theme extends to glass and mirrors too, almost like facets of diamonds, each shard reflecting light in a different way.”
The line includes over 35 styles – and covers the whole spectrum of cool separates, dresses, skirts, jackets, tops and jumpsuits. And it’s extremely affordable too starting at Rs 1,295 and going up to Rs 2,995. You might want to circle the date: it hits the website on September 30.
