Parineeti Chopra and Arjun Kapoor’s hilarious take on their rumoured marriage

Parineeti Chopra and Arjun Kapoor go all the way back to 2012, when they made their Bollywood debut with Ishaqzaade. Six years and three movies in, the duo have become good friends — or at least, that’s what they claim. Their closeness and rapport is evident by the way they constantly keep pulling each other’s legs on social media. Their recent move of posing together on the cover of a bridal magazine, however, sparked a furore on the internet. Fans have begun speculating whether the two are considering marriage.

But instead of acting coy and letting the rumours settle, the mischievous Arjun took to Twitter to express his feelings:

Of course, the outspoken Parineeti wasn’t going to sit back and let Arjun gloat. Pat came the reply:

LOL. It’s like the two are playing tug of war. But before you decide on who’s winning, read Arjun’s reply to a fan who pleaded him to marry Parineeti’s manager, so that Sidharth Malhotra could make Parineeti his wife:

Hmm… Could Arjun be leading us on to the right track?

Parineeti wasn’t impressed though:

Tch tch. Not only has poor Parineeti been exposed to Arjun’s shameless trolling, but Sonam Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and his own sister Anshula Kapoor haven’t been spared either. Read here how he’s trolling Bollywood and he’s so on point.

A real-life marriage may or may not happen but Parineeti and Arjun will be seen as romantic leads in the upcoming movie, Namastey England. Guess their fans will have to make do with that for now.

These are the longest celebrity marriages:
