Pierce Brosnan claims he wasn’t aware what Pan Bahar was before he became the ambassador
Needless to say, the internet is not impressed.
Amidst controversies and hilarious internet reactions surrounding Peirce Brosnan’s surprising turn as an ambassador for Pan Bahar, the actor issued a statement saying that the brand violated his contract.
The former James Bond actor stated that he was misled to believe that he was endorsing a tobacco infused mouth freshener, when his contract explicitly stated that he would be the face of a breath freshener/tooth whitener. He claimed that it was stated to him that the brand he was endorsing was all-natural containing neither tobacco, supari, nor any other harmful ingredient and has since demanded that he should be removed from any further endorsements.
The actor was criticized for supporting a product that has been known to be harmful to health. “Having endured, in my own personal life, the loss of my first wife and daughter as well as numerous friends to cancer, I am fully committed to supporting women’s healthcare and research programs that improve human health and alleviate suffering,” read his statement. Regardless of this, and as always, the internet had a lot to say about this.
Pierce Brosnan says he didn’t know what he was selling.

Pierce Brosnan thought Pan Bahar was a tooth whitener just like we had thought Britishers came to India just to trade.

Unbelievable that Pierce Brosnan now says he didn’t know what he was endorsing.
He is not a teen endorsing his first product.

Pierce Brosnan may as well have said that he did the ad because he is tired of Rahul Gandhi’s weak leadership.

Pierce Brosnan says he didn’t know reality of Pan Bahar before he signed up to advertise. Sounds like a Delhi resident who voted for AAP.
