Indian model Pooja Mor debuts on the international runway, walking at the Louis Vuitton’s Cruise 2016 show in Palm Springs, California. ELLE goes behind the scenes with Pooja Mor tracking her big moment.
How did it all start?
“I moved to New York City just 2 weeks ago and that’s how I got the opportunity.”
How were you cast?
“After a week I learned that I had the chance to be in the LV show. They called me in for the meeting and confirmed right away!”
Which was your favourite look from the show?
“I think every look was different and stunning. Nicolas Ghesquière is a genius.”
What was it like to be an iconic venue like Bob Hope’s home?
“Oh my god, it was an absolutely incredible venue. I was so distracted by the meandering pathways of the venue during the first two show rehearsals. I’ve been lucky to see such an iconic place.”
What did you think of the hair and make-up?
“It was very natural, and that’s what I love. Basic make-up, hair down and casual, what’s not to love, really!”
