Hej, meet your new royal, male-model crush: 18-year-old Prince Nikolai of Denmark. Nikolai just signed a contract with Denmark-based modeling agency Scoop Models, People is reporting. He’s the oldest son of Prince Joachim — sixth in line to the throne — and his first wife, Alexandra, Countess of Frederiksborg, making Nikolai seventh in succession. In case you haven’t visited Denmark’s Wikipedia page recently, here’s the royal rundown: Queen Margrethe II is Denmark’s current ruler, and Frederik, Crown Prince of Denmark, is heir apparent and then his four children. Joachim is Frederik’s younger brother.
Nikolai already walked the Burberry show on February 17 in London, with Bente Lundquist, a representative for Scoop Models, telling the Danish newspaper Billedbladet that Nikolai is signed with the agency. “I can confirm that he is with us and that it was us who booked him for the Burberry show at London Fashion Week,” Lundquist said.

Nikolai has a little more freedom with his royal duties and will be financially independent, according to an August 2017 article in W. “He’ll reportedly never receive any land, money, or title from Margrethe and Henrik,” W notes, “though his parents will support him through his education.”
