Looks like director Ali Abbas Zafar has just confirmed Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas’s wedding through a tweet. Priyanka has walked out of the upcoming film Bharat, and while media reports speculated that it could be because she has bagged a bigger Hollywood film, Ali’s tweet indicates that she’s taking time off to marry rumoured beau Nick.
Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas have been the talk of the town, ever since the new couple went out on a dinner date in Mumbai, followed by a trip to Goa along with Priyanka’s friends and family, including her brother Siddharth, his girlfriend Kanika Mathur, her cousin Parineeti Chopra and mum Madhu Chopra. And according to Mumbai Mirror, the reason for Nick to be in India is to get some family bonding time before the two get engaged. That’s right — rumour has it that Priyanka and Nick are considering an engagement, around July-August.
Nick reportedly popped the question to Priyanka at his cousin’s wedding in New Jersey, and came to India to meet and greet the fam. What’s more, Mumbai Mirror reports that the two have been wearing matching purity rings, too.
